Birchbox-January

I know my beauty box posts don't get a lot of comments, but for whatever reason they do get read a lot so I'm going to be continuing with them this year too.
Birchbox is an American box which took over Joliebox UK and if you ask me, just as well as Joliebox didn't really live up to my expectations for the last 2-3 months.
As to how the boxes work, you know the drill already...you pay £10 + p&p and you get a selection of beauty samples every month.
I got:
Teapigs peppermint tea (sample worth £0.60): Even though this is a beauty box, they do also include a lifestyle sample and I do like that. I love herbal tea and this seems to be a nice, flavourful one so I'll definitely be looking for it in the shops.
KMS blow dry spray (30ml sample worth £1.30): I used KMS brand before and was very happy with the products. This is a blow drying spray which helps protect and condition your hair.
TAAJ hand cream (30ml sample worth £2.43): I'm very picky about hand creams and have tried a lot of them, but none comes even close to my trusty supermarket bought Neutrogena. This one smells nice and absorbs quickly, but again, I doubt it'll be replacing Neutrogena.
WEI eye cream (2ml sample worth £8.50): This is definitely on a more expensive side, but it promises to diminish your crow's feet and that's a-OK by me. I have used WEI serum before and it's amazing stuff. So much so that I had to rush out and buy it. I have no doubt it'll be the same with this eye cream.
Fresh Sugar Rose lip treatment (2.2 g sample worth £3): Tinted lip moisturiser with an added bonus of SPF 15. It makes your lips super soft and it has a nice, natural tint to it. Lovely product.

The products in the box were worth £15.80 so not all that much more than what you pay, but all the products are from great brands and I'm really happy with them. My only gripe is that a tea sample could have been a bit bigger, but then again I'm a complete teaholic so I would say that.
Can't wait for the next box.

Ok Kiki I'm gonna leave a comment! I think people appreciate reviews, they just don't have much to add
to the conversation- ya know? so keep it up! I def value an honest appraisal and opinion.

I actually like your beauty box posts - I actually pay attention and that's saying something for a girl who doesn't wear makeup! I think you're pretty honest so I think you'd say if something really worked or not. Keep going please.

By the way - did you only get one teabag? That's a bit mean.

It's so interesting to see what's in the beauty box (as I've never gotten it), so please keep posting! I really respect who tries new beauty products
constantly.. I should do at least from time to time. The tea looks cute, by the way :) xo akiko

Haha, I'm a teaholic too! The value isn't super high but I think the brands make up for it, definitely :)

@bella, yes, you're right. I think there's not much to add to a review. It's a strange one for me...these types of posts always generate the least amount of comments and the biggest read numbers. Oh well. As lOng as people read them...

@sue...yes, just one. Very mean. Now I have to do with my cupboard teas. Hmmmpf

The Sugar lip treatment is THE BEST lip balm/stain, ever. You have such a great collection of beauty products. Idk if you've already done this, but I'd love to see your makeup organization system. I bet that post would be really popular.

I never subscribe to Birchbox or things like that because I'm not a fan of the 'surprise element' when it comes to my beauty regime (which is basically the simplest thing ever), but it seems like a good selection this time around!
