My legs are a a little bit short and a whole lotta chunky so I can't say I really love wearing flat shoes. I prefer the elongated effect that the heels give me. However, there's no escaping the fact that you can't run around the city (or the suburbs...ahem) in high heels ALL the time. I mean...my poor, poor feet do deserve some rest.
And if I'm going to wear flats I might as well go for the sparkliest, prettiest flats I can get my hands on. These black Zara beauties are a rework of their popular last season's model which came in champagne colourway. I got the black ones for the simple reason that they go better with most of my wardrobe.
I also convinced myself that it's perfectly acceptable to pair a very dressy shoe with the most casual of the outfits. That way on even the most dreary, grey days (and we get a lot of those in England) at least my feet can sparkle.

Perfect, perfect, perfect. I want to wear all this look! Love the fact that the biker is in a pale colourway which lifts the whole outfit.
I saw those sparkly shoes in Zara and my feet are too wide to do them justice. But doesn't stop me wanting them. Sigh.
I have the same issue, except I can't be bothered to wear heels cause I have no tolerance for pain :( but these flats definitely spice up outfits!

these flats indeed are spectacular! and right now I'm even a bit sad because of the fact I find everything in Zara too overpriced and haven't bought anything from there. must live with my decision though :P
