Summer's Last Hurrah

"Oi, where are you going dressed like THAT? It's a bit chilly outside."; said The Husband.
"It's 19 degrees! That's positively TROPICAL by British standards, donchaknow."; said I and also added: "You might put your coats on when the thermometer reaches 19 degrees in Brazil, but here in Britain people are well hard! 19 degrees is a sign you should get your summer gladrags out and enjoy the last hurrah of summer.".
With that I twirled out of the door.
It was chilly.
I ain't ever admitting that to him indoors, however.

I wore:
Maxi dress: ASOS (if you happen to be ample of tits like me, you might want to invest in an industrial strength strapless bra for this one).
Sandals: Miss Trish Of Capri
Ring: Ottoman Hands

Nails: "My Vampire Is Buff" by OPI

Hero Products

This is what I have been using and abusing last month or so...
The shower gel is limited edition and it smells super melon-y. I don't like to eat melons, but I'll have them in my bath. Or shower. Yes, please. It's a cheap treat and available in most UK supermarket chains.
The candles by Lily Flame were already mentioned on my blog. I loved them so much, I stocked up on more. I especially like the Blue Hyacinth scented one.
Last but not least, we have a solid perfume. Really handy for when you're on the go. I adore both the scent and the practicality of it. My only gripe is that I used it all up really quickly.  You can get them at Cult Beauty. I know I'll be stocking up on more.

Where's Wally?

Dungarees are still very much "in" if you ask me and I plan to wear mine well into the winter even if I do resemble a "Where's Wally" cartoon. I didn't really plan to channel any 'toons, but people kept saying to me...."Ooooh, look at you. You look just like the cartoon character in those cute dungarees" So, Wally it is.
I wore:
Sweater: ASOS
Dungarees: ASOS
Shoes: Guess
Bracelet: LA Kaiser (with thanks...)

Nails: OPI "I don't give a Rotterdam"
Lips: Sleek "Stiletto"

Feline Meow....

Who would have thought it...a grown woman with lace cat ears perched precariously atop of her head. Yes, I just went there. My outfit was looking a little plain for my liking so I added some extra pizzazz in the shape of cat ears. I wasn't sure if I can pull it off at my age, but I tried my best. Besides, I'm a big advocate of having fun with fashion. At any age.
I wore:
Cat ears: Etsy
Necklace: Tiffany & Co
T-shirt: Topshop
Linen skirt: ASOS
Bracelet: Forever 21
Bag: Luella
Shoes: Zara

And here are some cat pics because you have to have cats in the post about cat ears.
